The cottage is in the heart of the historic market town, yet in a peaceful courtyard, providing the best of both worlds.
There are beautiful walks of all lengths and ability levels, straight from the front door, including the famous banks of the River Lune well known for inspiring the artist Turner and author Ruskin with the views.

We actually lived in Kirkby Lonsdale some years and still have family and friends in the area. Living in the south east now, we find Jasmine Cottage is an excellent home and base when we return on family visits. We have stayed at Jasmine Cottage on several occasions.
It's in a great 'tucked away' position right in the centre of the town, with the benefit of a parking space - which really is a 'must' in Kirkby Lonsdale. All the amenities are first class - it's cosy and warm, well equipped and well maintained, with a lovely private courtyard garden. We've recommended Jasmine Cottage to friends and will use it again ourselves hopefully in 2011.

The cottage was clean, tidy and very well appointed. Everything was as we wanted. Private garden was a real bonus as was the dedicated car parking space. The location is superb - less than a minute walk to the lovely town centre with good places to eat shop and get the paper. Booths supermarket within walking distance is really handy. Great walk along the river to Devil's Bridge. We are going back this year with our new little boy and looking forward to showing him the sights!
